As John Borack vowed that the new SSA version would contain no 2-fers, there are few changes here.
Big Star two-fer which was previously #2 has now two separarate entries at number 3: "#1 Record& Radio City", making a toss-up. The first Spongetones album "Beat Music" replaces "Beat & Torn" which added the "Torn Apart" mini album. The two-fer Shoes CD "Present Tense/Tongue Twister" is replaced by their first major release "Present Tense". The eponymous Plimsouls album replaces the "Plimsouls...Plus" CD (hence dropping the "Zero Hour" mini-album). The only real change is, the first Material Issue with its legendary title "International Pop Overthrow" which logically replaces "Freak City Soundtrack". All the albums are available in CD format or can be officially downloaded.
Special note: This compilation comes complete with the usual full set of artwork suitable for jewel case CD. It is now available in lossy and lossless formats.
