Alan wrote "I Love Rock'n'Roll"
he recorded the song with his band The Arrows
Alan Merrill auditioned for The Left Banke in 1968
but the band dissolved before he was able to join.
In 2007 he released "Rive Gauche" a tribute to The Left Banke.
