MU - CHILDREN OF THE RAINBOW (1985)

Reuniting with Jeff Cotton in 1970, Fankhauser then formed the group MU. In 1971 their first album was released and became a radio hit. Increasingly fascinated by legends of the lost continent of Mu, Fankhauser then relocated to the Hawaiian island of Maui in Feb. 1973. A second MU album, without Cotton, was recorded in 1974, but not released until the 1980s. Fankhauser then recorded a solo album, "Maui", issued in 1976.

"Children Of The Rainbow" was a 1985 US limited edition 15-track vinyl LP recorded live in studio on the island of Maui, Hawaii in 1974.

JON BRION - MEANINGLESS (2000)
First and so far only solo album from ex-Grays member. The album was self-released and didn't take off, so this might be the reason why getting a physical copy is not exactly easy (or cheap). A lost gem desperately in need of a CD reissue.

The last volume (the 10th) had been posted in February 2016, and this new one, started in June 2017, should have been posted around August 2017, but for some reasons it stayed on the HDD and was postponed for months and months until today, At last, here is the 11th volume of this ever popular series with some great covers released in the meantime and added to this revamped volume.

Once again, it is available in lossy and lossless formats with the usual set of custom artwork, including full details of the bands involved.

SPARE CHANGE - LONELY SUITS (1979)
Spare Change formed among Adelaide ex-pats in Amsterdam. Back in Adelaide, the band coalesced in 1973 as a pre-punk powerpop unit. The initial line-up included John Dowler (vocals), Chris Langman (guitar), Bob Kretschmer (guitar), Tony Murray (keyboards), and John Wilkenson (drums). Wilkenson was soon replaced by Graeme Perry, and this would remain the definitive Spare Change line-up. After a solid couple of years playing Adelaide pubs, Spare Change relocated to Melbourne in early 1975. There, the band recorded "The Big Beat" which was issued as a single at the end of 1976 (b/w Classified Ad). Aided and abetted by Henry Vyhnal, the band continued recording until March 1977 with the intention of an LP release, but broke up before that eventuated. The posthumous Lonely Suits LP  was released in late 1979, and included both sides of the earlier single.

SPECIAL NOTE - UPDATE

Obviously there was a problem in the RAR process of "Tributes or Not Tributes Vol 3" with song 14 on CD2, because the original mp3 is flawless. So, for the ones who'd like to get it fast here it is
SONG 14 CD2

I've read some messages dealing with the RAR process (empty ones or anything else). As i have experienced the same problem on other sites, i found the solution by using the lastest version of WINRAR 5.50 (shareware) or using 7-ZIP (which is freeware)
